Baseball in the RAIN!!

Since Gates is such a HUGE baseball fan we are attempting to attend as many games as we can--well, that's our goal. Last night we decided to go watch the Wolfpack play. It was a beautiful day, no rain in sight until we decided to head out. Literally the minute we got in the car it started to pour. We were unsure about what to do, so we drove to Raleigh thinking maybe it wouldn't be raining there. When we got there it looked like it had rained but, it was all over. AHHHHH, now we can sit and enjoy the game. Not so much luck. We all got our hot dogs, popcorn and sprite and sat down and YUP, you guessed it, the sky opened up and we were drenched. No place to hide, no umbrella not a dry spot in sight. So needless to say we ate soggy hot dogs and popcorn and enjoyed the game. OH, and the best part is we didn't just have our two kids, we had THREE others!!! Gates took and friend and Gunnar took two:) We are such troopers!! It was fun but when the sun started to go down we were really chili, so home sweet home we went.... Sorry no pictures of our bad hair and dripping clothes, but I promise we were there:) Until next time......stay dry!
