THE MERRITTS

We've been back a week now and still on the go. We got back Sunday night and The Merritts(Matt, Jen and Zuerker) came on Monday afternoon!! Whew, can you say whirl wind. They just left this morning to head back to TN. Matt wanted to stop in Knoxville to watch Tennessee get pummelled again!! We will keep our fingers crossed that it's a good game and that doesn't happen. You know I AM still a TN fan too:). We've had another totally terrific week. Gunnar and Zuerker were their normal selves, as long as they were busy they were the best of friends, but the minute things slowed down they were barking at each other. I think that is what happens when you are with someone 24 hours a day with no place to escape. No really they did great and had a wonderful time catching up and playing together. I think they got to visit every park in Cary this week. Uncle Matt took then to Pullen park to ride the train, and paddle boats and carousel. They came home exhausted, but had more to do that evening. I was hosting a jewelry party and I needed the kids to be out of the house for a few hours, so Todd and Matt took them to Monkey Joes then out to dinner. They were SOOO tired when they got home. It was a quick bath, then off to bed for all of them. One night we ate Japanese, you know we can't ever pass up an opportunity to eat Japanese!! UUUMMMM it was delicious. We did take a few pics that night but Jen will have to email them to me so I can post them. We took the kids swimming yesterday at Lifetime(my gym), then out to get pizza. Swimming is always a success. The water really wears the kids out. I was sad to see everyone go this morning---especially my two little love bugs. Todd is out of town and now so are my babies. My house has never been so quite in my life. They've only been gone a few hours but I'm missing them already!! I am working tonight and hopefully tomorrow night, so the time will pass quickly.
