5K

This Saturday I ran my first 5K in a really long time. The race was to raise money for brain cancer research. Last year a little boy in our neighborhood was diagnosed with brain cancer and his family put a team together and Tracy and I decided to join in. We actaully had a lot of fun and got some pretty good exercise too. It was a really really hilly run.. And HILLS are not my thing... but I did come in 19th in my age group and I found that very motivating. Now I'm planning my next race and maybe even thinking about doing a half marathon???? Who would have thunk it---heeheehee
