So last weekend we were joined by Daddyo and Hattie for our final Christmas celebration. They came in on Friday and went to the FIRST Wolfpack gymnastic meet with us. It was there first time to see a meet in years. I think they enjoyed it. The kids were happy to see them and had been awaiting their arrival all day. We would have seen them a little earlier if daddyo wouldn't have gotten lost! If only he would listen to his daughter--yes, dad I do know how to give directions, maybe one day you'll learn to follow them:) Anyway, after the meet we were all starving and grabbed a bite to hit before heading home and off to lala land.
Saturday morning we got up and the questions of gifts floated about the house--"when are we going to open presents???" that's all we heard for hours.. Finally we gave in and started the event. I say event with meaning! It takes FOREVER to open all the gifts that come out of the bottom less pit--I swear I don't know how they get them all here. Gunnar even said "wow, there's more presents today than Santa brought". We had a great time and I LOVE my cowboy boots---thanks dad..
Saturday night we got a sitter and the adults went out for an evening of dinner and well we were suppose to see a movie but our little dog Knox got sick and had to spend the night at the vet so the movie was put aside.. Knox is fine and dinner was great.. Maxamillians--can you say YUMMO!
Sunday they headed out and we headed to church.. We went to lunch at a friends house then back home to get some r&r. We were all so tired. I layed around all day and it was awesome.. We all had a great weekend and we still have 15 days til Gunnar goes back to school!! Yeah!
